My name is René, aged 30, male. I come from Cologne, germany, but originaly I'm from a small town called Bensberg.
After graduating from school 1998 I started studying biology in Cologne. For three years I kept on studying, but while it was undeniably an interesting subject, I decided
that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life with science.
Thinking about what else I could do for a living I remembered that I allways had a lot of fun programming in Turbo Pascal 5.5 and Basic back when I still was in school.
I allways wanted to "teach myself C++" and other "techie-nerd" stuff, so I decided that being a developer just might happen to be what I wanted. Looking back it was a tough decission, but after all
I found something that I really like to do and that I'm really good at.
Two years later I graduated as a "staatlich geprüfter Informatiker - Softwaretechnologie" and I'm now working as a software developer for a company
in Cologne, developing a solution that offers secure communication and transfer in a simple and transparent way for end-users. In fact it is an interfaceable platform service that enables all kinds of applications
to take advantage of cryptographic services and deploys a secure infrastructure for end-to-end communications.
